I tried Happy Lemon’s famous lemon green tea drink and also their matcha red bean bubble waffle. The lemon tea drink was amazingly fresh, delicious, and very lemon-y, and the bubble waffle was freshly cooked, not too sweet and had crispy edges. Service was friendly, and if they could keep the area cleaner the ambiance would have been more cozy.
The taste of special cooler slushie has been watered down a lot. And they forgot to put agar in my drink. The quality is going down as far as I can see. It’s a shame, it had been always my go-to place
Not a fan of Happy Lemon milk tea, the milk tea from this store is good, the service is fast .
I've been coming here for a long time now but recently have had really disappointing experiences. They have been super stingy on their toppings lately and it makes the drinks a lot less flavourful. They used to put a decent scoop of puff cream and pearls in. Now they just get a bit of puff cream and smudge it around the cup so you can't even taste it in the drink. This was my favourite bubble tea place and the taste was 5/5
Food: I had the taro smoothie with salted cheese and pearls for around $8/9 and I didn't expect it to be good, BUT IT WAS SO TASTY! Usually smoothies barely have any flavour and just taste like crushed ice but you could actually taste the taro and it had a slight candle taste to it but in a good way. The salted cheese was the most salty cheese foam I've tried but it was really nice. Service: what I like about this place, instead of making you wait 15 minutes the staff actually told customers before ordering that their orders would take 7/15 minutes. Made the wait a lot easier. Ambiance: You can't sit anywhere but it's a nice little place to step into, gets kinda crowded easily, there's a machine to pay with too. Recommend: If you're walking around and want bubble tea this is a great place to come to.
This place changed the operating time without any notice. Most branches are closed, and only this one remains
We have been going to this shop many years. On 3rd December around 5.30 went with EatClub menus. When we ask the staff said no EatClub which is their fault if you guys promote eat club do it without cheating. Rude staff she said no service for EatClub customer. Very rude never seen this much rude person. Last day with happy lemon. Worst staff shifty attitude.
I'm not sure what's wrong with happy lemon now. Have you turned into scammers? I ordered milk tea with pudding which should cost $7.20, and your staff said "can I just order you pudding milk tea?" Which is 7.50. Are you guys scammers? Why is the price different for something that is clearly the same. When question, she sighed in annoyance and said "let me put that in again". This is the sort of attitude you guys have?! I didn't request to place an order for a more expensive item! You scammers decided to put it in yourself and has the guts to sigh? Plus I ordered the milk tea with 70% sugar but she input it in as 30% sugar saying that the system doesn't show 70%. Yet its showing as 30% in my order. I have never heard a more ridiculous excuse. Can you at least choose a more well-mannered, well-educated staff? This whole experience made me loathe happy lemon!! Just for a note, I went to the Elizabeth street branch on 9 October 2022, 20.45pm. The person who served me looks chinese, wears glasses and tie her hair up in a ponytail. Beware if served by her!!!
Always a joy to have Happy Lemon, any of their menu items with lemon is so refreshing.
I went up to drink some bubble teas with my partner, the stuff who’s likely 150 to160 cm was awful in customer service, it was my first time drinking bubble tea and I asked her ‘what is the recommendation’ and she just said ‘look at the display on top’ with a tone of anger, I was just surprised on her customer service. Never drink bubble tea here! Worst experience ever. Also my chocolate milk tea was not well mixed and it feels like I am drinking sand water picture is below
