As far as bedside manners go, my doctor Dr Karoly had the worst I've ever experienced. My nurse offered to let me lie down so she could assess me properly, and she also requested that a doctor come over to assess me in the room where I was lying. I was offered a wheelchair by my nurse, but my doctor told me she can walk to the office. Furthermore, he told me that I should not be here if I could not walk. When I was in his office, he was incredibly rude to me in the three minutes I spent with him. I was closing my eyes because I was obviously in a lot of pain. He told me to move my chair closer to him because I was as I was trying to get off, and he pulled it towards him aggressively. He asked me about the medications that I took I was trying to list them he said yep you could tell me quicker. This would help in the most condescending tone. He made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and I have never felt so unsafe around a practitioner before. practitioner honestly, his license should be taken from him. I don't know how he got a license with such horrible social skills. Again the nurse was lovely I feel sorry for the rest of the staff that has to work with such a horrible man.
Awful! My sick daughter was as treated appallingly by a certain male doctor at this clinic. Confrontational from the outset with a superiority complex and clearly not in a good mood, he frightened the wits out of my daughter who has an intellectual disability. I would have thought a man that age, particularly one who is supposed to care for the sick, would have learned a thing or two about humility, but life is full of surprises. I have had to talk my daughter through a life lesson that I wish I hadn't have had to. Oh, the reception staff were at least lovely! :-
Dear Dr Karoly, I never thought your bedside manner could get any worse but I was so very wrong. After waiting 1.5 hours to see you , the way you spoke to me today and the way you approached my 3 yrs olds medical issue was outright appalling. He called you grumpy doctor in the car and you know kids, they say it as it is. You had a full on day, you could tell. And you were working a bit of overtime. You didn't have time for lunch. I'm sorry for that, should I be? Am I to blame for that? That deserved a walk out and that is what you got. Never again.
I’ve been going here for my whole life and it’s aways a blessing to know that the incredible doctors at Hanover a street are always there to help. I trust them and their advice, thank you!
We had a great experience here. The doctor was open and helpful. Would recommend.

Albert Karoly, I never met such a rude , arrogant, heartless practitioner, who has no social skills, after a stay in hospital my elderly father when in for a follow up, Basically felt like we were wasting his time, basically told dad is old, We also needed some forms completed by him, he said he didn’t have time, and needed a double appointment. I left dumbfounded, with nothing achieved. We made a new double appointment so we could get the forms completed, and prescription script. I sent my sister, with dad as maybe I was over reacting, with the treatment, Karoly behaviour was even worse, again he said he doesn’t do the forms on Saturdays, rude about our lack of knowledge of the medication, which he had the medication record from the hospital, as well as the physical medication. Claimed he didn’t have the hospital records. Which he had read out ,at the previous appointment. We changed to a different medical centre, popped in to visit , the Doctor had never seen Dad before, he was more pleasant, and even though he didn’t do the form required on the spot, he said he’d do it the next day. This was completed, and processed as promised. We now know that one of reasons dad ended up in hospital was due to a medical issue, that Karoly was aware of, and not treated correctly. If you enjoy visiting a Dr who bulk bills, gets paid and does nothing, and makes you feel worthless visit Karoly. He should be deregistered
