Really enjoy the variety of products found at this store. Stars taken off for inconsistent service provided by hotfood staff. I understand it gets busy at times, and I was happy to wait for the staff to prepare. Staff missed the sauce and side dish and said she could not find a rubber band to keep the food box shut for transportation. If you are closing and could not provide the whole service please just tell your customer.
This store is recently relocated from the corner of Jephson St and Sherwood Rd and is now located in Toowong Village. It's an impressive new store with a good layout and huge selection of fresh produce and Asian grocery items at competitive prices. In addition, it has a mini Korean Kitchen takeaway section. Unfortunately, the store is not yet licensed unlike some of the stores, but hopefully this may change in the future.
Communication breakdown. It's not often you go somewhere these days and strike out 3 times to find an English speaker. If this were an Asian supermarket run by Indians I'd bet I would have faired better. Not great. The selection was literally just Asian, as in Chinese. No other Asians... yet enter one owned by Indians and you get both their Indian products and a spray of other Asian foods. Why is that you guys? Hmm?
This supermarket should pay attention, the charges for some products do not match the actual prices! I didn’t notice it before, but later I found out that the bill for Flammulina velutipes was $0.51 more than the listed price. I asked the clerk to check the price twice before and refunded the difference to me, but it was wrong again when I checked out today. I asked why the price was always wrong. , the waiter told me that the offer was over. But the discount is over, why not take this special price tag away? And does this problem happen over and over again?
How dare you put The Epoch Times publicly in a supermarket ???!!! It’s a place to share happiness and food, not a place to let you guys to express your political pursue, it’s gross. Undertake those in specific event or parade, stop abusing “multinational” , that’s unequivocally myopic and now you doom yourself as meretricious!
I love the variety of greens and other vegetables though thus place offers take away food as well
I love this place! I'm not sure where it was originally but its now in Toowong Village and super convenient! This would be the closest asian supermarket to me and I'll be a regular :
They wouldn't sell a product to us because it wouldn't scan and they didn't know the price. Asked if they could figure out the price and they said no they can't sell it. No solution provided and it was a large amount of the items on display so not sure what was going on then. Won't be back
2 out of 6 my goods were expired already found out upon checkout. Always double check what you buy.
It is a nice Korean grocery store. Items mostly are not very expensive. It doesn't look very big, but I can get a lot of nice things in this store. However, I must say they store too many instant noodles. They have good Korean and Japanese ice cream I like. They open long hours. That's really wonderful. I should shop there more often, but I often drive down to Sunnybank to shop instead. Staff are very friendly.
