Stopped here for lunch. Great spot with views of The Remarkables. Good food, good coffee and friendly service. Prices we reasonable for the location.
Fish and chops, nice fish but oili. My friend had pasta it was fine. The place looks nice with outside tables.
Friendly staff. Was busy when we dined there. But we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The staff are helpful and know the dishes on the menu. Open spaced dining with booths and tables. Good selection of ales and wines.
I often stopped here for a beer and fries after work. The service is really good and honest. I'd recommend it to anyone. Food: Good Service: Excellent Environs: Good - in the middle of a frustrating car park but the pub has EXCELLENT views of the spectacular Remarkables mountain range.
Service was good. Beef burger was tasty but fries were overcooked and it was way too little for the price I payed. Also they charged extra for battered chips, plus they charged for extra aioli sauce whilst we only had 1 portion each. Payed 27 dollars for a burger, fries and non-alcoholic drink. Bit of a rip off if you ask me.
Had lunch here and we left pretty unsatisfied. Not recommended restaurant. The service was fine but the owner charged us extra's for things that we should not have been charged for. We got a medium to small size burger with a few very fat, totally overcooked chips and no salad on the side. The burger was tasty but overall the meal was certainly not satisfactory and not worth the money -go somewhere else-
Made the mistake of trying Hamills for breakfast and as a regular to Queenstown I won't be back. The place is dirty, they have a play area for kids that's disgusting, all the toys are dirty and covered in grime. The food was over cooked and not nice at all. Not long after being there I felt sick, threw up and had stomach cramps until late in the evening. This place needs a good clean, new furniture, get rid of the kids area if it's going to be kept in a disgusting state, wasn't even vacuumed, yuck!!
Would love to have dined here but their hours seem a bit unpredictable. The only hours we could find on Facebook stated they were open regular hours on Sunday. Turned up about 4:20pm for a very early dinner to be told they were closing. Apparently they close at 5 which means don't bother turning up after 4 if you want food. Disappointing.
Great menu, service and views of the Remarkables. This is a great place to start the day with a nice breakfast and tea or coffee. Really friendly and fast service. Great prices as well.
