Story

Hairy Hounds Playground was established in Williamstown, Melbourne’s west, in 2007 and was designed to help owners with their entire puppy and adult dog journey, from socialisation to manners training and of course to help tire out that fur-kid! We offer day care and specialised puppy day care with socialisation sessions dog training, dog walking, pet feeding, microchipping, sleepovers in your home and in our homes and much more. Our staff have an array of qualifications from vet nursing to positive reinforcement dog training, from animal management services to animal welfare qualifications and volunteer experience. We’ve volunteered with small animals such as wildlife and companion animals and large animals such as elephants, orang-utans and other endangered animals. It is our mission to ensure we use our passion and love of all animals when ever possible. We believe that socialisation in a controlled and safe environment and manners training are integral to keeping dogs healthy and happy.
