I had an hair appointment booked for 5pm tonight. I have just been told via text “due to unforeseen circumstances” the appt will not go ahead. Only offer of alternative appt being 12.30pm Monday, when I am working. Really poor customer service and zero attempt in trying to get me another suitable appointment just over a week before Christmas. Pretty much too bad so sad from how the person was texting. Disappointment doesn’t cover it.

Many thanks to Jade and the team at Hair 4551! This friendly modern local hairdresser has been here for years and gives quality service to all. Stylish comfortable, the client experience is second to none! Even the tea and cookie provided is the best ever! I would definitely recommend, my first experience was rememberable ! Thanks Jade for fitting me in last minute!

I booked in for a last minute cut & was so impressed! Maddison took care of me and she was great, knew exactly how to cut/style my thick, curly hair. I really appreciate the time and care she took. And it’s the first time I’ve walked out of a salon and not wanted to wash my hair straight away to restyle. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a haircut with Gosia and I can't even recommend her enough, she's very friendly and professional and listens to what to want and gives genuine advice! Jenny and the rest of the staff are very welcoming and nice. Best haircut and blow dry on the coast give at a try and you will never go anywhere else honestly!

Staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive, It was so lovely, how Maddy asked us wether we would like a cup of coffee, water.  Especially, how Maddy place a chocolate biscuits waffer next to the cup of coffee.  And it made the experience relaxing when Maddy put the massage chair, it was also relaxing she massage d my neck while have my hair wash after having it coloured, also love Maddy's attentiveness in making sure the brassy tone were reduced in my hair.It was really professional of Jenny to make sure my hair was done right. I loved the special add by trimming my eye browses and trimming my side burns. My wiv, Kathy and I would definitely recommend the hairdresser's Hair@4551 to our friends and family.

Love love love this place! The ladies are so wonderful and I always feel welcomed and pampered. I've been to some hairdressers in the past that made me feel guilty for hair damage or for not treating it with ridiculously expensive products but the ladies at 4551 are understanding and give helpful advice for hair care.  Kayla is absolutely lovely and amazing at what she does and I leave feeling happy and confident with my hair after every session even during that awkward colour change phase. Looking forward to going back

Got my hair cut and coloured and about 2 weeks later, I had noticed the colour starting to come out and by 4 weeks later the colour had completely washed out. I went back to query it and was abused by the manager and she even shook her finger in my face, calling me a nutcase. She tried to tell me my hair was growing too fast, when previously I have only ever had to have colours every 3 months. If she had offered to redo the colour for half the price or apologised the issue would not have got to the stage where I am giving this salon a no star review.  I was going to have our wedding party have their hair done here but not now. I would not even have my dog groomed here.
