Great prices usually the cheapest around east Auckland. They offer occasional discounts on fuel. Simply the best self service petrol station.

Gull Gas Station is the cheapest gas station I found in New Zealand while my stay in Auckland. There is no staff and all automated. At the first day when I try to fill up gas, I had no idea how I should proceed and I asked other guy how was filling the gas and with his tips, I proceeded and it was little complicated as I'm not a New Zealander and it was just few days after arrival. This is because in my country all manual and there is a cashier for billing. So, it was new experience for me.
So, at first time, selecting the pump, entering the credit card or other pay card method was little difficult and I was trying with the instructions given by other guy and I was so happy that it worked for me after giving few tries with errors and didn't pump start. But with few tries, my credit card declined and paid with the ANZ Bank card.

No rush and plenty of empty pumps. So, can take time and do the job slowly.

There is air pump too and good place to gas filling as this is cheaper than other gas stations.
