28Oct16 This Gull service station is currently named Gull East Tamaki despite being closer to Botany and Botany Town Center. The naming anomaly is probably caused by East Tamaki Road (extension) running all the way from East Tamaki proper to the back of this service station. Anyway, this station sometimes has extremely low flash sales (heavily discounted by up to 20 cents and sometimes 30 cents a liter of fuel). Then motorists go nuts and queue up all the way along Te Irirangi Drive, dangerously obstructing traffic at times, to save money. This station's sister Gull station on East Tamaki Road is just as good 2.5 kilometers away.
