Good service, friendly staff, but there is this one terrible host named Pauly who tried to sleep with me and when I told him I wasn't interested, he tried hitting on my friend. My friend was drunk and on the rebound, but he said no until offered a handful of narcotics, which changed his answer to a timid yes.

Fast-forward 2 years and they're living together. Pauly says he's tired of the routine and life has really come to a halt for the both of them. There's an uneasy kind of lull that springs into the air whenever the two of them are in the same room, but neither are courageous enough to address it. They both feel it and understand it, but feel like it's been too long to say anything.

The irony is not lost on either of them.

Someday, the moment will arrive when both life and experience will snap them out of their ennuyeux and they will move on with their respective lives, but for now, it is an element of the everyday that they cannot escape.
