I have been to the shop a couple of times for dinner and ordered a burger, sweet potato chips and a drink. Even though the shop wasn't busy at the time of both visits but still the burger came out way before the chips - on both instances i had finished my burger by the time the chips came out. I also note that the hygiene standard isn't the best. I did notice that while filling in the chips into the paper cups some chips did fell off onto the serving tray by the lady frying the chips and the girl behind the counter who had been dealing with customers on cash counter just used her bare hands to collect the chips from the serving tray and add it back to paper cups. All the staff working at the shop are quite friendly, welcoming and agile though.
Worst Grilld burger I’ve ever had. I bought a Sir Truffle, it was bland, tasteless and the meat pattie was literally like chewing on cardboard. The lettuce was unpleasantly coarse as if the leaves had been found in a canary’s cage.
The burger and service were sadly not to the same high standard we’ve received at plenty of other Grill’d locations. The gentleman who took our order was so lovely and chirpy however didn’t have any insight at all about how to use the app, which at the time would’ve been useful because we were entitled to a free drink but were unable to redeem it due to his lack of knowledge. Once we received our food we were disappointed to see that the burgers were quite simply burnt this is not the first time we have gotten burnt burgers at the chatswood location. Despite that we continued on with the burgers provided and I thought that we had some chips missing from our order this was my mistake as we did get free chips on the Grill’d app but the server was unable to redeem it. I had forgotten that it wasn’t redeemed and mentioned it to the lady serving when I quickly realised my mistake and apologised to the waitress for the confusion, I was genuinely sorry for my lapse but her response made me feel awful! Her reaction was that of annoyance and it was as if I had wasted her time and breath. In my personal opinion I truly was sorry for the ‘chip situation’ however I don’t believe how I was made to feel was the appropriate response considering, the burnt burgers and that we had to wait 15 minutes after reminding the servers to bring us water which they offered - and arrived in oily dirty cups . We do enjoy the food and service we've experienced at other locations and will continue to dine with you, however most likely never again at the chatswood location, such a shame.
So nice and easy to have a gluten free burger and chips that are safe to eat on a strict gluten free diet. The gf bun is good quality and didn't dissolve or fall apart. Ordered via the QR code for delivery to our table.

Came here a couple of times, the burgers were decent but a little too small for its price. For $13-$15 one can get better and larger burgers elsewhere. Greatly dislike how dirty the place is, came on a Monday and I had to walk from table to table to see if there was a clean one. There wasn't. All the chairs were dirty and the tables didn't look like they were properly wiped. Good thing is staff are friendly, and I support their responsible practices in encouraging people to eat vegan burgers as well as donate to charities.
Took a quick bite before the movie. This my second time at grilld. The burgers may seem a little dry but they are still tasty. They are supposed to be healthy burgers and for healthy burgers they are quite yummy. You have an option to have the burgers without the bun. So if you are on a diet spree you should give those a try.
Seems like the Sunday night staff are more preoccupied with keeping the store quiet and neat then welcoming paying customers even with about 2 hours till close. Saw a group of 14 arrive and almost immediately leave at 8pm because they were pretty asked to by one of the staff who didn't really want to seat or serve them. Apparently there was only six staff on and the group should have booked but the store was very quiet. I cant imagine the business that gets lost if this is the norm.
Amazing juicy burgers and chips seasoned with herbs! Delicious!
Decent place to grab a bite to eat and have a drink. Nice menu selection for casual dining, with a few vegetarian options as well. Slightly expensive considering their burgers don't come with any sides and everything has to be ordered separately. Friendly and fast service. Would recommend.
