"Bird feeding at Grants Picnic GroundEffective from February 2020, bird feeding at Grants was ceased permanently.In line with the National Parks Act, conservation research and community feedback, visitors are no longer permitted to feed, or offer any food object to any animal.This is consistent with all other National Parks across the state where bird feeding is also not permitted as it can favour aggressive species and lead to unnatural densities and species composition."

The birds are great, but the way this place has been capitalised is not. Used to be a great place to visit, free and unhindered, now is pay to enter and get supervised. Still fun, especially for kids (if they can stand the scratching claws) but not what it used to be.

Bird feeding was awesome. Only Cockatoos were feeding. Some Rosellas came to nearby trees but did not come down to feed. There was plenty of Cockatoos that came sat on our shoulders to feed or just to hang around. Good stuff

Beautiful nestled in Forest. Cafe and bird feeding opportunity. Couple of good walks. Relaxing place.

Great place to visit. USA students loved feeding the birds. BBQ'S worked well. Enjoyed the walk amoung the tall trees and the tree ferns.

If you’re interested in visiting a tourist-packed disappointment to view birds in trees (as they are too scared to approach unsupervised children and their apathetic parents) then this is the ideal spot for you. The surly bloke dispensing seed on the gate appeared to be as welcoming of visitors as he would be of a bout of tuberculosis. This used to be a great spot; now ruined by the want of a dollar. One star for ease of exit
