Lovely B&B in a renovated 1916 house with modern amenities. Stayed in the Riddell room with ensuite. Hosts were very friendly and cooked breakfast was delicious! Gardens were well maintained and lovely succulent rock garden. Comfortable beds and good heating.
What a delightful place to stay. Beautiful old house, nicely decorated in large and lovely garden. Hosts were terrific, great breakfast and room was very comfortable - all the mod cons in a period home. And in the midst of the Yarra Valley - a great spot. Highly recommend a stay, - lovely for the "girls" weekends too.
"Congleton" was a great choice for us - we used this B & B as a base to visit many of the local attractions, although we could have stayed on the there the whole weekend. The owners Christine and Keith made us feel very welcome, the cooked breakfast was delicious. The entire property was impeccably clean and the gardens were beautiful.
Christine and Keith are so kind respectful and interesting people to stay with. This is our third time we are staying here.
