Had an emergency appointment today and the dentist I had and her assistant were nice and really reassuring me with how anxious I was, talked me through what they were doing and explained why and my next steps. I have a follow up appointment in a few weeks so here’s hoping my tooth heals well. The dentist lady was very gentle too which I appreciate given I had a bad experience else where prior to coming here, the assistant was kind and tried to help me relax by placing her hand on my shoulder when I was shaking and the dentist helped me through deep breathing :nI wouldn’t say the same for the receptionist I had as I went in trying to get an earlier appointment due to the amount of pain I was in and I was crying trying to get help and no empathy at all just moved it up 3 days which I still had to wait for, not the best for an emergency appointment.
I have no clue as to why this practice isn't rated higher in reviews.nI've been coming here for nearly 10 years.nDr Joanne Lawrence is warm, personable, thorough and understandably a popular doctor.nEvery other doctor I've seen has been terrific: Dr Nasreen Jaffer, Dr Sian Goodson, Dr Nareen Nitchingham.nThe nurses that take my blood or give my shots are awesome, warm and funny. There's a beautiful lady they have on board that apologises for pricking you while delivering immunisations!nThe receptionist staff are SO lovely. If I've had an urgent situation, they have been so understanding and have delivered a good result and slotted me in.nBest GP's and supporting staff I have ever known in my life.nI feel safe and cared for every time that I come here.
My son had treatment and check up this morning by a student dentist called Adam . Wow what an awesome and amazing service he is so professional and explained everything in details this morning. Thank you Adam and the female Dentist that look after my son this morning
Took my youngest here for dental check up & they were so kind plus patient with her. They spoke to her way she could understand, explained everything they did, let her lay on my lap to get checked reducing her anxiety, spoke kindly to my ASD oldest 6 years old while her sister got checked, listened to me & when they couldn’t get her to sit for X-ray after two tries said we’ll rebook her for another time to try again incase it was anxiety n fear making it harder
The receptionist this morning was absolutely so rude to me when I was just coming in asking a question and asking for a sample container. I know it’s a hard time of year but you don’t know why people are coming into the clinic. It’s a medical field, do better. It’s not hard to be kind to each other.
