The Gourmet Girl Cafe is an absolute hidden gem located walking distance from Laburnum station. Amazing coffee and delicious food with incredibly friendly staff. 5/5 would recommend this place and will be coming back again!
Great neighbourhood brunch spot. There's a nice alfresco area under a big tree which provides a very relaxed atmosphere. The iced latte is great and the food is good.Food: 5/5
Well situated cafe with ample comfortable outdoor seating. I like their fluffy omelette filled with mushroom, onion, capsicum and tomatoes.Food: 4/5
Great local hidden gem! Nice vibe, great food, coffee and service!Food: 5/5
Really nice eggs, Benedict real hollandaise sauce the only thing I would say is that next time I come I’ll ask for toast instead of the bread that it comes with its not very nice, as it wasn’t toasted properly and it was spongy heated up bread but I would come back no worries it’s only bread coffee is absolutely fantastic. I even had 2 cups try the place out it’s really nice
Food and coffee are consistently good. It gets pretty crowded over the weekend so a booking is highly recommended. It is great to sit outside when the weather allows.Food: 5/5
Nice coffee, love their village breakfast as foccacia. Al fresco dining during the warmer months is really pleasant.Food: 4/5
Had a pretty good lunch here today. Prices were fair and the quality was good. Service and atmosphere a bit lacking, but would go here again. Ordered a tea and found the serving very generous pictured. Menu is quite large for such a small place, and food was served within 15 mins.
Cosy little local spot right behind Laburnum train station. This adorable little cafe reminds me of visits to Nana's house, photos of friends, family and staff adorn the walls proudly with an old metal fireplace for added warmth of needed. Plenty of space inside and out with a small heated section outside. All your usual suspects on the menu for breakfast. As well as a reasonable lunch menu too. I really enjoyed their mushroom and duck leg risotto. This is a place you visit for the overall atmosphere, good food & staff. Coffee being their only weakness at this point, but everything considered great little local cafe. For more ideas follow my Instagram : JoJo.approves
Asked for the breakfast bruschetta but instead received two soggy pieces of bread with cold sautèd spinach and two large barely grilled tomatoes, with mushrooms on the side. No olive oil, no balsamic vinegar, no garlic, no flavour whatsoever. Told the waitress to please not charge me for it because it was disgusting and I could not bring myself to eat it. Waitress then came and told me that I was being rude for voicing my opinion. I told her it wasn't her fault, but the chefs, she still proceeded to tell me I was rude for telling her I couldn't eat it. I usually wouldn't voice my opinion on the food but because my friend was paying for me at the time, I really didn't want her to pay for something I couldn't eat that was barely made well. Waitress telling me I was rude was just uncalled for.
