Scallopine al funghi 5/10 tough veal just like veal schnitzel really with light sauce aldente veg Gnocchi gorgonzola was a great sauce but really heavy gnocchi like its been kneeded for to long with to much flour 5/10sauce got all the points Arancini balls mushroom style ok 7/10
Great food, could eat it everyday honestly. Service was terrible had to ask both young waitress' multiple times for extra sauces or drinks, my partner eventually had to get up to get his own drink after the second time of waiting turned into 10 minutes before being served. Only 4 other tables in the place were seated so it wasn't busy enough to use it as an excuse. However, the older lady was fantastic. If it wasn't for the food we wouldn't be going again.
The pizza was alright, fresh ingredients, the sauce was pleasant and they also leave a nice crust. Which is great! The pasta... I asked for Spaghetti and got very overcooked fettuccine, among other things. I think what is missing here is love and passion. I certainly didn't feel any positivity when calling in for delivery, as if my order was a burden, I felt bad vibes instantly. However, the delivery guy was very nice.
Regular haunt for locals both young and older. I was told that the head chef has been part of the establishment for over 15 years and draws his own set of regulars who keep coming back for his signature dishes. Highly recommend the pastas and mains and especially the delicious homemade sourdough bread that accompanies the meal. Can't speak highly enough of the bread! The new owners are very pleasant as well and are quite generous and hospitable in my experience. Would definitely highly recommend the place.
Avoid unless you eat before you go and don't want good service! What a disappointment! Went there tonight for a large family get together and waited 2 1/2 hours for our main meal. Each of us were given our meals at completely separate intervals with no apologies for the meals taking so long! We were then assured out desserts would come out within 5 minutes as it was nearly 10pm by this stage. Well that didn't happen! I was given a replacement dessert that I hadn't ordered with the comment that the one I had ordered was no longer available. Needless to say I didn't accept it. When raising these issues with the manager she was very dismissive and more concerned about who didn't pay for their garluc bread. Food not special.....go to the pub!
I think this place has changed owners. The food was not as good. The service was awful. Our empty glasses not cleared away. Our empty dessert plates not cleared at all. There was only one other table at 9.30pm and the staff were eating their dinner at another table. The sticky date pudding seemed like it was reheated in the microwave so as u got half way thru it, it was getting hard and dry. I had tiramisu. I wondered if it would be any good. I should have gone on my instincts. It was not fresh and not enough coffee flavour. We have been to this resturant a few times. This was the last time. It's definitely not a real authentic italian restaurant now.
Mixed up my rare steak with another medium well at the table, one with and one without pepper sauce. They got us to swap plates after the steak and some of the items had already been sampled and then made me wait 10 minutes for pepper sauce to be made whilst my rare steak got stone motherless cold at the table and everyone else ate. Unimpressed to say the least. Honest mistake fair enough but there should be a much better remedy. Not outstanding quality, but good pizza and good seafood.
Great food and friendly and attentive staff. Portions are generous so don't overorder. Can get noisy when a lot of patrons are there. Prices are very reasonable and food quality is excellent. Overall, a very satisfying experience.
Used to be great, since new owners meals are still good but lots smaller, tonight we got entree sizes for main meal prices we went away hungry. Also you now can't buy a glass of champagne or proseco by the glass, very poor. We have been going here for many many years and enjoyed the fare ,but tonite was the last straw won't be back there are many many places who do better.cheers and good luck.
Been going to de fazios for years. One of our favourites. BUT very disappointing on Thursday night for the 4 of us. Table water was not fresh and smelly. Pizza tasted terrible, veal tasteless. I ordered my favourite gorg. gnocchi, which l always have, it was boring. What's happened?
