Always love going in here and seeing all the amazing products and games being played.
The owner is so friendly, when I was chatting with him I was talking about wanting to play D&D games and he introduced me to a group who were playing at the time within 30 minutes I had created a character and was playing in the party. I'm definitely going to come back here often I already love the place. There's great people there and they all play different games, brilliant vibe and plenty of space and tables to play almost any board game.
Convenient for me as it's only about 4 suburbs away, and close to public transport, or a scenic drive. Staff know their gaming - no "fake nerd" types of girls, for example. Layout changed between visits but definitely better. Smaller than where I play D&D, but definitely worth the trips so far.
A great local games shop with a good location, parking in rear, good selection of products and fairly decent prices. Staff are always amazing to deal with, knowledgeable and friendly, and once you've visited once you'll be treated as a regular. Good space in the shop to play a number of games and does get busy on weekends but never crowded.
Very pleased with this store. It's local and the staff are friendly. They support most major Hobbies like magic and Warhammer as well as a lot of smaller ones. Decent playing space. Source could be bigger and could have more stock but good for what it is.
Original review left below for context. I had an initial poor experience with Good Games Kallangur, however I went back after the owner reached out to me and had a much more positive experience. The layout still needs some work, but the owner was very helpful and accommodating on my second visit. My questions were redirected to Facebook and I was ridiculed for past decisions. I felt unwelcome by the staff, and the layout of the store was uninspired and bland. I have had good experiences with other Good Games stores, but my son and I were treated so poorly we won't be going back.
Amazing is the the first word that comes to mind, his selection of board games are wonderful, he is friendly and very helpful. The place is welcoming and accepting, will definitely be going back and recommending this shop to anyone looking for a place to play or buy board games, card games or just hang out with friendly people who like games. A+
Went in to buy $100+ of board games and didn't get acknowledged at all by the store assistant who spent at least 10minutes talking to someone about MtG cards. They did seem to have an interesting stock of games though and a good space. Yes it was today
Good customers, good staff but extremely poor conditions for people to gather and play games. If you are considering a day out gaming, do not attend this business premises as they have no air conditioning or air flow through the building. The owner of this business should be hanging their head in shame, when paying customers are expected to sit and play games in conditions that are a health hazard. They should be reported to Work Place Health and Safety. Hopefully it will not come to this.
After visiting for some weeks and spending money, building a rapport with the owner and other TCG players, the owner spontaneously and without any warning or discussion with the players, changed the day and time of events taking place, leaving many of us with nowhere to go and hundreds of dollars in now useless cards. Do not recommend anyone looking for a long term community to visit this location.
