Story

At GOOD EGG, we are all about being good.

We use real eggs sourced from an open range egg farm in Victoria, nitrate free bacon, and fresh challah bun made without unnecessary chemicals.

We are also committed to providing HONEST COFFEES. We have been making and serving good coffee (without the attitude) for the last twenty years. Just ask some of our loyal regulars at our other home, Wall Two80.

Finally, being a GOOD EGG also means that we try our best to source responsible packaging solutions, and make a conscious effort to use local suppliers who share our philosophy.

Tasty sandwich came with crisps on the side which I wasn't that into but dinne people might like them. Decor is minimal but the food seems good quality.
Beautiful scotch egg with secret sauce. The sauce is absolutely gold. It makes all the food perfect.
Small but cosy & cute cafe with an intimate vibe. Staff are always smiling and helpful. Coffee and food are good, not much to fault. They have some of the more uncommon dishes that you don't get at a lot of other breakfast places such as boiled egg with toast soldiers and also the scotch egg. Definitely a place to check out.
Next to the South Melbourne Market, great location. I had the acai bowl, which was delightful but a very small size for the price unfortunately. The green tea was very delicious. It had some flowers on it. Overall it's a good place for breakfast.
Small cafe just opposite the market. Laid-back vibe but serve surprising good coffee and breakfast meals. Owner is also flexible to my request to change the bread of my liking off the menu. The place is a bit small, so do avoid the busy periods.
Good quality food! portion size of eggs just brings it down, for what you pay I expect abit more on the plate. If it was priced abit better I'd definitely give it another star but none the less I enjoyed it and recommend. Coffee was also abit watery and bland
So many choices for coffee and so called good coffee. Good egg makes great coffee served by a qualified barista with a smile :. Opposite the South Melbourne market where there are loads of choices - the good egg is the go to. Yes they serve great breakfast and lunch however a day doesn’t start without coffee.
