This has got to be the best military museum in Queensland. The collection of military memorabilia is second to none. It is a definite place to visit for groups, schools, serving and ex serving members of the military and the general public. Bob Meehan and his friendly volunteer staff constantly keep the displays updated. If visitors want to make a day of it, I recommend the Old Tea House and restaurant just up the road from the museum at 7 Johns Rd Mudgeeraba.

This is one of the best museums around. The time and effort that the curator Bob and his staff commit to the presentation and maintenance of the showcases is amazing. Any current or ex service member will find something to bring back memories of their service. Thanks Bob and Wal

Great place of interest. Best display of war memorabilia.

Personally, I found the staff to be very uninterested (unless they thought you were going to buy something) To hard to respond to our goodbye when they could have a chat to eachother. Might be nice if someone would come and have a chat about the displays however it was very standard, very little background information and facts unless you only want to know about weapons and uniforms. Some very interesting things left out. Biggest let down was paying for my uninterested 16month old and having a tone of trouble trying to navigate a pram through some displays. Overall, Would avoid with yound children and if you arn't overly enthusiastic about the military.

Rude and arrogant staff saying to my oldest son "I wish your brother would shut up and behave like you" while my other son was having a autistic meltdown and was not touching anything. Avoid it at all costs.
