I purchased an investment property through Gold Coast Property expo in December 2016. I dealt with Issam who was extremely helpful and professional. Since then GC property expo have been managing the property and are doing an excellent job.

I rented a unit in Circle on Cavill from this agent. They represent two owners who own a large number of units in Chevron Renaissance and Circle on Cavill.  I was a model tenant and was told so by the agent at each inspection.  Just before the end of my lease the agent or owner had the locks changed, preventing me from entering the unit, for absolutely no reason and with out warning, my belongings were still in the unit when the locks were changed and my rent was paid one week in advance.  This agent immediately sent in a Bond Claim Form, to RTA,  claiming 100% of the bond , without reason. When I listed the matter with QCAT the agent did not make a full claim for the bond but a small amount and they expected me to pay further rent even though they changed the locks and I did not have use of the unit.  QCAT awarded me the full bond and compensation as the agent had breached the tenancy agreement by changing the locks and therefore, forcefully evicting me. If you have rented from this agent and have had a similar experience please write a review or email me.  Forced to put one star as I could not post unit I highlighted one star but this agent does not deserve any stars

It has now been 6 weeks since QCAT awarded me the return of my out of pocket expenses due to this Real Estate Agents actions and they have not delivered.  I now have go to the magistrates court and have the matter transferred from QCAT as the magistrates court has more power in recovering funds owed to people.
