Well maintained station with nice staff. Public safety officers appear quite often especially after hours which is great for the community. Myki inspectors rarer but do appear to sting students. Platforms are clear and trash regularly emptied. Adequate lighting and feels safe.
The station is conveniently close to Swinburne University, providing easy access for students to travel. However, it can get quite crowded during rush hours. The area around the station is bustling with many shops.

If Malaysian Street food is your favourite, visit NAN YANG KOPITIAN located less than 50 m from Glenferrie Railway Station Ticket Office.
