My visit here was surprisingly pleasant after reading the reviews before I went in. I had A+ customer service from a young girl. The store was exceptionally clean and the girls working had set a really nice atmosphere for me and other customers. I visited about a week ago :
Terrible experience. I felt so unwelcome coming into the store. The girls looked at me and even under their masks I could even see a frown. A hello might have been nice. I tried on a skirt and asked for a different size and she took sooo long as if she was having a chat to someone. As I brought my clothes and left I still felt unwelcome she was just rude. I didn't feel like I should be there. I work on customer service and that is no way to treat a customer
I work in hospitality and I’d be fired on the spot if I spoke to and looked at customers the way the employees do at this store. A smile would be nice, but a glare is unexceptional. Glassons has a reputation for rude employees but the Queenstown store excels in this category unfortunately. I said I’d rather buy my clothes online than give the store my sale. Never going back
I had a great experience with a girl named Brie in Queenstown she was so helpful and lovely and made me feel very comfortable and welcome in the store.
The absolute worse service I've ever received, I wouldn't even call it service! I was actually in disbelief how rude and snotty the workers were when I was in the store. I walked past at least 3 of them when I first walked in and not one greeted me, was struggling to find something in the store and 1 worker stood right next to me doing something else without any offer of help and the young girl on the counter who 'served' me... 2 words - STINK ATTITUDE! After she had grumpily processed my order I was asked if I wanted a bag which I replied no thanks, then my clothes were just chucked onto the counter and she walked away without a word said. Soo rude!
The staff were unfriendly and didn't smile or approach us at all. My daughter tried on some clothes while a girl stood near changing rooms looking like she didn't want to be at work. We handed her the clothes that didn't fit and she said nothing at all. We left to shop elsewhere. My daughter said it was the same last time she was in that store a few months ago.
Very bad attitude of a girl who’s wearing a purple tops and jeans, no smile. I came all the way down to Queenstown from Christchurch, didn’t expect could be this disappointed. Will never coming back again and not recommend it for any customer who would love to have a great shopping experience at Glassons in Queenstown.
Bad attitude of girls at the counter. Spent $200 on clothes so I at least expected to be greeted at the counter and a thank you would have gone a long way. No smiles and the girl pushed my purchase to me at the end and turned and walked away. I wish I had have spent my money elsewhere.
Girls working here didn’t look like they wanted to be here at all. Felt like they were watching and judging us while we walked around the shop, very unfriendly, when asking for a price we were responded to with check the tag. No greeting were given when we entered or goodbyes when we left.
Very disappointed today when Glassons Queenstown refused to honour the price tag on a piece of clothing that my daughter wanted to purchase. It was even suggested that we had changed the price tag ourselves. It was only $5 and it felt like poor customer service that they wouldn't honour the price advertised on the garment. We spend a lot of money at Glassons but they obviously don't value their customers goodwill.
