This place is awesome. If you’re looking for authentic locally sourced food and goods I would highly recommend visiting. They have a big shop with wide variety of unique things and a cafe as well. The hot drinks we had were great. Food looked awesome, lots of places to sit outside in the sun or inside by the fire. Great for kids as well they have a bouncy castle outside!

Nice place. A little bit niggly on portion size. I had a plate of salad, which was nice, but not quite enough food. We both ordered large coffees and they were cups most places would call medium. But it was good coffee. Have had fruit ice-cream there in the past and that is excellent.

Lovely open spot. Room for kids to play with a bouncy castle. Also has a good variety of food and drinks for the whole family. Play soccer golf and visit the farm shop. Highly recommend this stop.

Stopped in for a coffee on the way back to Tekapo. Great coffee and service. A small bouncy castle on a well shaded lawn area was a bonus for the kids to let off some steam. Would definitely stop past again if in the area.

Love going to this place but today was disappointing as food came out far too slow. We were all travelling back to Christchurch in 3 cars. Family members with a baby had to get their pies as takeaways in the end after waiting 15-20 minutes and had to leave other members of family behind still waiting for their whitebait butties. We were all travelling back to Christchurch together but were separated after this. Hopefully things will be better when we call in next time.
