We are a small shop that has been a barber for 60+ years,
Now under its new management Geordies Hair Salon and Barber has under gone a drastic change.

Story

This salon was a Barber shop 66 years ago we are still going today after a bit of a change from its former self, we have the original barber chair used here in the salon and we have the original tools of the trade. We now offer much more than the old Barber shop on the corner use to but we still offer you great quality and friendly service. Our services include Make up, women's hair and beauty services, male and female intimate waxing, and old school barbering in our newly renovated barbering area. Females are taken to their own private area for all hair and beauty needs, while then men enjoy their own barbering area.

Friendly, affordable and knowledgeable. Separate ladies section of back for a bit more privacy, and clean barbers shop up front. I'll definitely be back

I developed an intensely itchy scalp which itches day and keeps me awake at night and significant daily hair loss after having my hair cut and coloured here. My doctor initially thought it was an allergic reaction and I spent a fortune on cortisone treatments. Now it's been 3 months later of this torture I'm looking at dermatology costs as he thinks it's fungal in nature. Having my hair done here was the worst thing I've ever done. I've had intense itchy scalp with little relief in months and it's still costing me financially. Also I'll be lucky to have any hair left by the end of this which atm I can't see being any time soon. Disgusted and disgusting.

I honestly don't  even think that are even star worthy!!

If they're not going to  do what I  ask for in a simple haircut, why would I  go back? They take no pride in the  shop, or themselves. 

They won't  keep the former owners' clientele for very long and that will be a shame considering that it has been  operating  so succesfully long before I  can remember. 

I can at least thank them for doing such a bad job that I  went and found a new barber that is professional and interested in doing a great haircut.
