Story

Garden City Perth is a premium shopping centre located 15 minutes south of Perth CBD in the suburb of Booragoon. The centre offers FREE parking with both undercover and underground access available you can find a park close to a convenient entry.

The centre is a mecca for fashion lovers and boasts over 200 specialty stores including David Jones, Myer, Zara, Apple Store, Kmart, JB Hi-Fi, Mimco, Morrison, Flannel, Nespresso and a number of fashion labels exclusive to Garden City.

The centre also has a tempting selection of cafes and places to relax while you take a well deserved coffee break.

The mall was quite nice, particularly in the area where we came up from the carpark since it had an interesting sculpture. It has the range of shopping and food options as most of the other Westfields. It is also quite large so it is a nice place to just stroll around.
This place never disappoints. Used to be called Garden City and we absolutely loved it since from day one. Always clean, safe and nice selection of brands and cafes. The parents rooms are always neat. Recently they added a quiet hour in the mall to respect the sensory needs visitors which is supper calming and enjoyable experience. In my experience for the past 12 years of regular visiting the management maintained the high standards for this place making it our number one mall in Perth to visit.
Westfield Booragoon has been a reliable shopping spot for many years, offering a range of stores that cover most daily needs. From clothing and tech to groceries and basic services, it has all the essentials under one roof. The mall is practical and serves the community well in terms of convenience, with a decent food court that provides a good variety of quick eats and casual dining options. It’s a place you can go to without thinking twice, knowing you’ll find what you’re looking for.nnThat said, the mall feels noticeably outdated. While it gets the job done, the overall design and atmosphere feel stuck in the past. It lacks the modern, polished look and updated amenities that newer or recently renovated malls in the area have. The décor, layout, and even some of the shops could use a refresh to keep up with the times. You can tell that it’s overdue for a serious upgrade, which could significantly improve the overall experience of shopping and dining there.nnDespite its age, Westfield Booragoon is still functional and convenient, but it’s hard to ignore that it could be so much better with a revamp. It meets the basics, but doesn’t offer much beyond that in terms of comfort or appeal. For now, it remains a solid 3/5—good for what it is, but definitely not at its full potential.
We visited this mall and found that is has a good selection of shops including two grocers and a department store. There is also a food court and it was easy to locate the shop we needed to go to. Parking was available even though it was Sunday.
Lost in its heyday memories this centre is well and truly in need of the promised upgrades.nnThere is NOWHERE decent to eat if you don’t want a coffee and a toasted sandwich or sushi and god forbid you want to spend Thursday night languishing around the shops with some dinner! Those are memories of the past, or dreams of what should be a now completed Reno.nnParking is atrocious - the open air carparks arenSo incredibly in need of repair and several are still closed off.nnStaff need to be enforced to park outside NOT undercover! Particularly in busy periods such as Christmas and weekends.nnThe toilets are never ever clean and feel grotty and disgusting. There are often malfunctions. This is a new thing since Westfield took over.nnThen add to that the disgusting advertising and marketing by certain Playboy owned lingerie stores degrading women with their fetish porn themed digital billboards which confuse children and embarrass the elderly, this centre needs a good look at itself.nnIt’s not recommended unless shopping for essentials as it’s all we have.
