Gabba Central Apartments

They put two single beds together to make it look like a king bad. It was cheating because I was not informed at all. My parking spot was taken by someone else one day. Outside noise. Bed linen and blankets are poor in quality. There is only one elevator for my floor. (Multiple floors with multiple elevator but still not enough) Reception hour is until 7pm. The phone operator is absolutely disrespectful.

I rented an apartment here for two years and trying to get my bond money back was a terrible experience. The property manager is a crook and will do her best to steal as much of the bond money that she can get her hands on. She is a deceitful liar and people that want to rent from here be warned to take a lot of pictures and have a lot of evidence of the cleaning that took place otherwise you're going to get ripped off. I'm an honest person and that lady is one of the worst human beings I've had the displeasure of doing business with. Best to not rent from here at all to be honest. The only thing that this place has going for itself is its location. You get easy access to public transport and coles. The downsides are that it gets loud with the bar, stadium, and the busy road (obvious I know), there are illegal baskers that will play the same exact 1 minute long tune for hours on end, there are actual crazy people yelling almost on a daily basis (I'm talking about people that should legitimately be in psych wards), and I have seen several fights from my balcony. Also, the apartments are bad quality for what you're paying for. Don't support this organisation, you're better off going elsewhere.

Withdrew my tenancy application when management told me I should take my partner off the application (who works for a living and pays her way) because she was from a different country. They continued by describing how 'people from said country' were like to me. Classic racism.

Checked into room after reception hours. Went to room and it was trashed. Wine bottles beer bottles pizza boxes more mess than you can believe. Red wine stains on bed. Toilet rolls on floor. Absolutely disgusting. No apology. Moved to another motel. Do yourself a favour...go elsewhere.

This place is very dirty. We had ants all over the kitchen and in the beds. The carpet was sticky all over. The walls were disgusting. Everything was very dusty. Only the first 500mb of internet data are free. The dishes were not clean. It seems to me that the cleaners have very limited cleaning time and always do the same routine cleaning so they don't clean walls, carpets, etc. even the walls and floors outside of the rooms looked like they had never been cleaned and there was a thick build up of dust. This is the cheapest hotel I've been able to find in Brisbane but I've found some much cleaner motels for cheaper. I'd say if you don't want to spend much go for a cheaper motel, or if you want to pay more go to a better hotel. This place is only good if you really don't care about cleanliness. Also I found some of the staff to be a bit unprofessional.
