BAD BAD BAD !!!!!! STEAR CLEAR FROM THIS DEVELOPER- FUTURE ESTATE!!!! I bought off the plan apartment in Parc Vue development. It has settled just over 1 year ago and I am still chasing up Future Estate developer to fix the defects in the apartment!!! I am actually not sure why Client Relations Director of Future Estate is calling “tear and wear” caulking defects, that existed in the apartment even before It was settled, as I organised an independent building quality inspector to inspect the property and do necessary reports. After confirmation from Future Estate that all deffects have been fixed, the building inspector had inspected the property again and prepared 2nd post handover report stating that only a few deffects have been fixed. The Managing real estate agent chased up again with VPS -( Fixing deffects company ) after settlement and they confirmed that all deffects have been fixed so I sent the building inspector for the third time to do the report. He stated in the 3rd report that there were only some painting patch in the wardrobe left and caulking still have not been fixed. The report shows the photos as well as Real Estate Manager had inspected the property and sent through the photos: PHOTO 1: the caulking is cracked and very messy, there is even excess on the window (this is not up to standards) this must be removed reapplied and painted; PHOTO 2: the cracks are very visible and need to be fixed (the carpenters have not even mitre joined the skirting boards, I understand this cannot be rectified although shows the poor standards of the builder); PHOTO 3: shows cracking again and must be rectified; PHOTOS 4 & 5 show cracking again, the skirting boards aren’t even level. It is so frustrating to buy a brand new property with sick poor workmanship and not up to Australian standards and trying to resolve the issue with the developers with no luck, leading me to lodging a complaint with the Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria.
