OMG, Have been coming here for 30 years for the best Teriyaki Chicken outside of Japan. Ever reliable and always hitting that sweet spot. This place is a Gold Coast institution, and a must if you love your Japanese cuisine. Just note, they are moving June 30th 22 due to the closure of Niecon Plaza. So glad this place will continue.
The chicken teriyaki is delicious. The flavours were yum. Very nice with a great price. Happy to recommend Fuku for lunch or dinner.
Grew up going here with my father for long as I can remember.... As a picky eater and a half Asian man... I can honestly tell you the Chicken teriyaki still slaps to this day BABY... LEEEEEEEEEES GOFood: 5/5
A restaurant with a problem with service attitude. When the cashier faces Asians, he will not smile and say hello. At the same time, she greets other local customers with a smile and greets them with enthusiasm, which is typical of racism.
Absolutely the best chicken teriyaki around, literally everything I have tried on the menu has been delicious. So reasonably priced, super fast service. Really all around great place, cannot fault them.
Thought we would try this new place given it's reviews. The only way that I can make sense of why it is so highly rated is because it is very cheap food and not horrible tasting given it's cost. Being cheap however comes at a cost. We made a booking for 6pm, when we arrived their waitress didn't understand English, nor had they set aside a table for the reservation. After finally finding a seat, we asked the staff if they could help clear the half dozen of empty plates on the table. They looked at me then walked off not saying a word. Confused, I asked them again when they walked past, again, they saw me speaking to them, but then walked off again? Very strange experience. After waiting for our food for 45 minutes, they brought a dish to us that wasn't ours. We waited again for our dishes to arrrive. When they finally did, it was only half the order. We had to then wait again for the rest of it arrive as they had missed it. Overall, we were actually more surprised by the odd expience than upset. It was so bad it was almost comical. But I hope this review can save others the epxerience that we had.
Great food for a great price! And great value for money!
Wanted a quick takeaway, and saw the reviews recommending the teriyaki. With many saying that this place does the most amazing teriyaki, how could you go wrong? Ok it's very cheap, but it's also extremely ordinary. Even the steamed rice was not cooked well, being hard and gluggy. Once you've had the teriyaki from Kyushu in Neutral Bay in Sydney, you'll find it difficult to compare.
Great service and food is amazing with good prices
This place has been my favourite for the past 25 years, theyre teriyaki chicken is as good as the day they started
