Despite the great location and a fun atmosphere when sitting around the grill, this place is fairly overpriced for the quality of food. Also the staff were quite flat, inattentive and couldn't even remember who ordered what. Just felt like they were phoning it in. The flavours are pretty basic, serving sizes aren't generous and the food didn't sit particularly well in general. Bit disappointing as we've been here before and liked it, but it seems it's gone downhill since. Taste: /5 Value for money: /5 Customer service: /5 Atmosphere: /5 Will visit again:
We visited last week to celebrate my bday. The chef and food were 4 stars. Our kids really enjoyed the show from the chef . Unfortunately, the lady who made the weakest attempt to explain the menu to us soured our experience!! We were simply asking about combinations of having this with that? She got irritated, sighed and said you can order whatever you like! Definitely shouldn't be the host on a Saturday night as she lacked basic customer service with a terrible attitude. Hope she can be educated on this or find something she actually enjoys...
When the miso soup is the dish of the night something is wrong. Firstly the chef was a lovely lady and entertaining . The young waitress was rude and did not want to be at work on a sat night. The restaurant looks very old and in need of a refurb. I had the steak and prawn teriyaki and it was very bland with not much flavour to it all all. My wife had the chicken and her first mouthful had a bone in it which made her chew every bite slowly with care. Won’t be back
We went to Arigatou early with our extended family. We had such an amazing experience. The quality of the produce used was outstanding. Emma, our chef is so skilled and charismatic that she had our table mesmerized throughout the experience. Will definately recommend the restaurant to friends, family and even people i pass in the street. Amazing! Thanks Emma for an amazing experience.
Food was great but felt rushed towards the end, as they obviously wanted to close on time. Your experience will vary depending on the chef that cooks for you. In general it is a cosy and casual place to eat and chat with friends.

One of the best asian restaurants I've been to in the Gold Coast. The chef is extremely skilled and it's very nice seeing her cooking what you're going to eat. The staff is very nice and the place is fine and very clean. You should definitely give it a try
Wonderful service, terrific show cooking the freshest produce in front of the diners, a really memorable show plus dinner of high quality, fun atmosphere, extensive menu, friendly service, will be back for sure.
Excellent service. Very helpful. I had to cancel my booking and they refunded the deposit promptly. Highly recommended. Very honest.
