Had an amazing experience at Frankie and Mo’s! They serve natural wines by the glass with whatever they have freshly opened and you can purchase bottles from their shop to take home too.nnThe menu is simple and perfect. We had the focaccia, baked Camembert, cauliflower, mushroom gnocchi and the short rib. Every dish was beautifully rich and they expertly staggered the courses.nnI recommend sitting at the bar where you can see the amazing chef in her element while she gives you incredible table servicenn10/10 I will be coming back!!! Thank you team!!
We stumbled in out of a foggy, drizzly night into the cozy and warm dining area of Frankie and Mo’s. Divine food and delicious natural wines - we love that wines by the glass was whatever Tom happened to have open which allowed us to experiment. The result was buying a haul of wine from the wine shop after dinner! So lovely chatting with Tom and his Dad, such a great establishment and great ethos. And wonderful to see Julie Paterson’s beautiful art on the walls, cushions, glassware. We will be back!
Had such an amazing dinner here. Family run wine store and restaurant.nBookings are a must for a Friday Saturday night. And the weekly menu is made with fresh local ingredients and delicious wine. There is a holistic feel to the food and their natural wines are just delicious.nWe had the:nParmesan èclairnHasselbeck Halloumi.nThe mushrooms with pistachio puree I could have eaten a bowl of the pureenThe Gnocchi with sundried tomato'snThe white chocolate parfait with kiwi and the upcylced wine sorbet.nFantastic for anyone who loves vegetables or is vegetarian. A focus on good food, that is simple yet still has depth and complexity in flavour. Just amazing food. Would absolutely go back and recommend.nAs a vegetarian it's so easy to make vegetables good and I was so pleased to have found this gem.
We love Frankie and Mo’s! Beautiful cosy atmosphere, lovely helpful staff with great wine knowledge and food and wine is delicious!! Huzzah!! Catered to our gluten free friend as well.
Oh goodness what an amazing wine bar! We had a wonderful evening. The food was very well thought out. Simple but with many different flavours.nThe service was 10/10 along with a fun atmosphere.nWe could not fault the food or wine.nThank you, it made our stay in Blackheath memorable.
