If you are in the hunt for a gourmet experience, this is the spot. Our party of four was warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Everyone selected the chef’s banquet, which consisted of 10 plates. Directly stated; it was a culinary extravaganza. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere intimate. This was an overall delightful experience start to finish. Kudos to the chef.

My Husband and I came here a couple of days after our wedding for our first dinner out as Husband and Wife.nThe staff were so friendly and excited by our marriage, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful. It was bustling and full of people, easy to see why it’s so popular!
After looking at a couple casual dinning restaurants around the area i was so happy we chose ATES. The food here is so fresh and incredibly delicious. I had everything aside from one or two dishes. Don't usually write reviews but this restaurant, staff and ambience just had be appreciated fully.
Over rated restaurant, service not up to mark. Totally disappointed with food and servers. We were expecting good dining evening after our long drive from Grand Pacific coast. We ordered prawn toast as starter and had waited a long while. But to our surprise our main dish came first. We were not satisfied and decided to cancel our starter order and just settle with our main dish. The Dory fishes were frozen and tasted rather ordinary. Nothing to shout about. Not the best dining that we expect after all those good reviews. Fyi, there is no bill to be taken off from Sparkling water cos we only had hot water.
Ates was amazing!! Thank you George. The pumpkin was a table favourite. The space smells like spices & love. Thank you for having us. Don't miss out and make sure you book a seat
