Also not impressed with Frances Nolan-been purchasing shoes for my 4 children over 20 years. (photo evidence on wall behind the fitting platform). Expensive shoes with claims of "superior durability" and purchased for my youngest son (17yo)have fallen apart after 3 months. Only one shoe has collapsed with identical wear on both shoes-one shoe looks brand new, the other a split sole at the toe and separated upper from sole at the heel. Was told only yesterday that they've not seen this before-that the damage was "willful" on the part of my sensible older teenager- and now I read a similar review! Yes-he had played a bit of soccer over lunchtime-so why did the left shoe only fall apart? Other retailers-when I went elsewhere to purchase a replacement pair- advised they would replace these shoes as they are evidently faulty. I can't help thinking my claim for replacement was rejected as Frances Nolan don't expect much repeat custom going forward, given the age of my children!! Local shops need to look after local customers or accept the consequences.

Not very impressed with expensive shoes I bought for my son and totally fell apart at 3 months. All his shoes last at least 4-6 months The staff were not very helpful saying they stock the shoe for 10 yrs, that does not mean there cant be a faulty one. They even told me my son should see a podiatrist:0 which I found pretty rude. Will be using this store as a last resort. Not a great service after I've been a loyal customer for many years for 3 kids twice a year.

I have finally found shoes that are gorgeous and comfy. Thank you to the staff who were so patient with me!
