Our experience today with the Formplex rep Mo was great. He was very professional and easy to talk to regarding all aspects of what we wanted. Mo was very helpful when we were choosing our colour and then explaining all information about Formplex itself. He made everything easy about the appointment including costings and paying the deposit. We would be happy to recommend Mo and Formplex to others
Something we've wanted to do for a long time. Received a paint brush in the mail and within a week had someone out to quote. Extremely easy and professional when they came out to do a measure and quote. They really know there stuff. Highly recommend
Milan was fantastic He was friendly, helpful and did an amazing job. He worked efficiently and got the job done quickly whilst still keeping the quality of work very high. The house looks amazing. Probably added twice we paid for the work to the value of the house.
Formplex weren’t in the area when we first enquired however Mo assured us he would meet with us when he was local. True to his word we met with him today and his level of expertise was excellent. We’ve chosen to clad our house in Rivergum and can’t wait to see the end result. Fantastic service and would highly recommend.
We have known of Formplex for over 40 years. Mother in law had formplex installed in late 1980's and looks as good now as back then. We are cladding our place with the grey colour and white trim.
18/10/22 Honestly unsure if i would reccomend this company so far...started off great called formplex for a quote they came out the following day went through the choice of weather boards ect signed the contract paid $1250 deposit. Materials were delivered quickly aswell 4 days after signing contract. I paid formplex a further $7,500. I was told it would all be installed in 8-12 weeks. 20 weeks after signing the contract im still waiting for any work to start. I have called them multiple times to see when it will be installed. Everytime they say 4 weeks then you call after 4 weeks and they tell you 4 weeks again. Im over calling and following up with them just to be given the run around i shouldnt have too. I have a 8 week old and 18month old kids this job needs to be done with currently no weatherboards on the side of the house. Honestly getting pretty disapointed with this company. No discount/compensation on the delay or even any updates. Will give them another 2 weeks to get the job done otherwise will be calling them to pick up the materials in my backyard that have been sitting there for months and get my $8750 that i have paid so far back so i can get another company to complete the job. Really hate leaving reviews like this but i feel no othee option
Very professional and prompt service. In future if I have any needs I wouldn’t hesitate to use Formplex again. Bonus that it’s Australian owned and manufactured which made my decision easy.
We have our house clad with Formplex weather boards June 2020 and could not be any more happier with the it. Firstly with the product we have noticed a 15 degree drop inside the house on these very hot day. Secondly the installation done by their people is very well done and professional. We found the people at Formplex very pleasant to deal with and willing to help with any issues. Well done Formplex Highly Recommended.
We had Formplex installation completed Jan 2022. In some rough weather some of the Formplex trim had come adrift. I phoned and discussed this May 31st and was assured someone would contact us to arrange to have it fixed. July 4 after not receiving any contact we called again and were assured someone would contact us that night or the following morning. July 8th after not receiving any contact we called Formplex again and have been assured someone would be in touch. Interestingly when we were arranging to have the original job done, we had three calls from Formplex to chase up our signatures on the contract, even after we had already signed up. Now when there is a quality control issue requiring some remedial work, the service is found wanting. You only ever know the true quality of a business when something goes wrong. Our experience has been well below expectation. Substandard. Additional comment. I agree that direct telephone contact generally works better. We did that 3 times, all calls initiated by us. Formplex hadn't followed up to see if our issue had been resolved or they would have known that we were still adrift. And yes the installer has now made contact, following this Google review. The installer has suggested this should be attended next week.
My brother’s a painter, but painting doesn’t stop rot. I’ve known clad is the best for stopping rot, so exactly what I need for my badly conditioned boards. Should have done this years ago.
