I have been nothing but impressed by Forestville Library - the cosy, relaxing atmosphere, the ergonomic chairs, the lovely staff, the ability to use a Focus Pod, and not to mention - the 24/7 access! Forestville Library has been game-changing in this last aspect, and it’s been a really well-needed feature especially for members of the community who do not have access to safe study spaces after hours. As someone who prefers to study outside of home myself, Forestville has been incredibly helpful and it’s been the perfect place for after-hours study.nnThank you to the staff especially for the perfect induction to the library - I look forward to visiting often :

I had to scan some documents here last week. My first time in this library as I recently moved from Manly. The staff were excellent. So helpful, caring and kind.

Most times have trouble accessing 24/7 with phone. Check your items are returned 1 was missed a week ago.

24/7 access is a great service to the community.nUnfortunately it only encourages young people to gather and socialise. Almost prefer homeless people to use it as shelter from the cold than obnoxious, disrespectful kids who aren’t using the library as it’s intended, or respecting other community members’ right to quiet reading or study.nnUpdate:nIn one corner, 3 kids are making music, beat boxing, rapping.nIn another corner, a girl is crying about her love life.nIn another part of the library, a group of kids are talking about how much they love Christopher Nolan.

Half the students that come in after hours just chat out loud and aren’t courteous of other people. Every single night.nnOtherwise, great space.
