Footscray market has an awesome variety of Asian veggies. The seafood selection is also top-notch—plenty of options available.
A market where many people gather. It has an Asian feel to it. It's a great place to find Asian fruits and ingredients.
The veggies were more expensive than at Vic Market. Meat was comparable and seafood maybe slightly cheaper. Hard to beat food outlets around Vic Market. Transport here was very convenient. HOWEVER the surrounding shopping area around Footscray Market was very nice to wander around if looking for unique and cheap goods.
