Was looking forward to supporting a local business but unfortunately was really disappointed with the amount of plastic packaging used in store on their fruit and vegetables. Everything in the fridge was wrapped and displayed in unnecessary plastic, when they could just be displayed loose. Would love to have the option to pick from loose produce and put in paper bags.
NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY STORE AT ALL!!!!!! Extremely disappointed and Absolutely appalled at the way the staff man and woman spoke to me today! I went into the shop with my two kids and I happened to be on the phone to double check with my hubby what I needed and by the time I was ready to pay for my goods the owner and his wife were harassing me saying that I was a bad mum not “controlling” my children! They went on and on about how they watch their children so well, but not me on my phone for a short 2minutes!!! I didn’t see any trolleys and I only have two hands to hold the goods we bought so how do they expect me to hold my 2kids the entire time I was in there and the goods?nMy children are both toddlers so yes they will try to touch things, that’s normal and YES I was there with them watching them and STOPPING them from getting into things. There was No grace, no understanding and no empathy for my situation at all. The Staff need to show a little KINDNESS!!!! Not judgement!!! So disgraceful
Sure, I don’t do my weekly shop here, but I do frequent them often for half a dozen items several times a week because there’s easy parking, very friendly and caring staff who go out of their way to assist, good food, reasonable prices and a convenient location, next door to MB Post.
Great little shop. Juiciest roast chicken I've had in a long time.
Clean, well stocked, convenience food, hot chook was good!
