Story

The Flying Spur Motel is a small independently owned and operated budget motel on the Western site of Toowoomba. The motel is one of the closest to Wellcamp Airport (15 minute drive) and a 500 meter walk to Toowoomba Aerodrome. CBD, hospitals and a variety of shopping centres are nearby as well (between 3 and 10km)
200 meters down Taylor street is Wyalla Plaza which has a grocery and vegetable store, bakery, bottle shop, chemist, medical centre and a variety of take away establishments. There is also The Pump with very nice breakfasts and lunches.
The new owners bought the business on 5 August 2016; unfortunately the Motel had been lacking in TLC for awhile so there are a lot of ongoing and intermediate projects happening before there will be a major renovation. First priority was to expand on cleanliness and comfort for guests in their rooms.
The Flying Spur Motel offers affordable comfort in a friendly and positive atmosphere.
There is free undercover parking for most rooms, free bottled water, and free wifi.
All rooms are air conditioned and semi self contained, they offer a fridge, microwave, cutlery, crockery, toaster , tea and coffee making facilities.
Pool towels,hairdryers and fresh milk are available on request from reception.
Reception is open from 7.00AM to 8.30PM, however late check in is available on request. Please contact us directly to organise this.
