Good standard style fish and chips, only tried the calamari and chips pack so can't comment on the rest of the menu. The calamari was perfectly done though and fresh and I got a good amount of chips. I like the fact they let you salt it when you pick it up. It was quick and delicious, I would definetly go back if I'm here on holiday again. Would get 5 stars if was a few dollars cheaper
Was impressed with the quality of their food. Cooked fresh, not oily at all. Snack pack was a decent serving of cutlets, scallops, calamari & white fish. They were in a busy lunch rush and we only had to wait about 15min. They have salt & sauces on the pick up counter so you can do it for yourself which is a big plus.
Located down on the pier, if you're in the area and want a spot of fish and chips go here. We came in August of 2022 and had the pirate's feast, and it was just that. The calamari was so tender I'd love to get a whole box of those. Flake was really well cooked and not oily, and the garlic prawns divine. They offer salts and other condiments. I'm happy to say they don't pre-salt them.
Flippers is the busiest spot along the wharf and for good reason. Food is hot, fresh, tasty and fast. You season your food with the seasonings of your choice at the pickup window and the staff are very friendly. It's certainly not cheap, but it is good quality.
Fast Service, but not the friendliest.. The fish was fresh & crumbed to perfection, but it could have done with a little extra flavor, but the chicken salt did help. Great location, parking directly on the wharf which is convenient. Definitely worth a try if you are visiting Hobart. #flippers #fishandchips #hobart #tasmania
Beautifully done battered flathead and chips for $16.50. Not overly done with the batter. Cooked tenderly. Would I have this again? Yes.

I don’t usually like fish and chips but this place is different! Really fresh, tasty and crunchy. The best fish and chips I’ve had in my Australian life. I reckon this is much better than tempura!!

Ordered the family pack, good serving of flake, chips and calamari. Flake was excellent, cooked to perfection. Calamari and chips were also great. Also ordered potatoe cakes which were a bit average. Overall great fish and chips.
