Two of had lunch here, the barramundi and the steak. The food is pub/RSL style, good sized portions, and very reasonably priced. There is a selection of wines and cocktails at very good prices as well. We would happily return. Service is very personable.
It’s a lovely place for family with children. There is a small playground in the garden for children playing while they are watching planes flying up and down. Staffs are friendly and kind. Great food comes fast. Toilets are clean. Discount 10% for Moorabbin Air Museum membership.
First time coming to the Flight Deck Bar and Grill to eat after being introduced by my friend, the service I received from the moment I walked in and being served by Liam made me definitely want to return again, I ordered the Porterhouse steak with chips and a Ginger beer, the food was delicious. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner Ari and was a delight to chat with. And the view was amazing watching the planes take off while enjoying my lunch
My ratings are an average over two visits.nnOnce during the week. Friendly warm lady on table service, great atmosphere, loved it.nnWent back on a Sunday for lunch. Harassed looking staff coughing everywhere looked annoyed we turned up but waved us to a table. Waited 45 minutes for service. Ended up visiting the bar to order some coffee and ask about how to order. Was told we would have to wait a long time for food, but you can order here. When I immediately attempted to order three cooked breakfasts we were told no, there is no food.nnNot sure we will be back … certainly not on a weekend.
Went there for lunch on Saturday, and it was almost at full capacity - booking is recommended. Staffs were welcoming and the menu contains typical pub-style fare. The price is very reasonable and our orders did not take long to come out around 15 minutes. The food were above average.nnThe restaurant is right next to the airfield but I did not hear any noise from the inside. On the outside you can hear the planes but they are not overly loud. It is a good experience to enjoy a good time with friends and families, while at the same time watching the planes.nnThere is a small play area on the outside for kids too.
