Leading up to our wedding in Feb, 2022 we still hadn't booked a honeymoon as travel still felt a little uncertain and we weren't sure what would be possible. As the date got closer we decided to book an appointment at Flight Centre Chadstone to see what our options. We were welcome by Molly Hickman who was friendly, knowledgable and super helpful. Molly helped guide us, offering suggestions and listening to our wish list, budget and timeframe. Our honeymoon was wonderful! Hamilton Island was absolute paradise. From the flights, accommodation and transfer to and from our hotel, each step ran smoothly seamlessly. Thank you Molly, for making our honeymoon memorable and stress free. incompetent + irresponsible + lazy staffs! It shouldn't be called "travel agency". They don't know anything! 27/12/22 I went there to book the cruise. The lady who served me couldn't do it and she said she will sort it out and get back to me tomorrow but I never heard anything from her. 07/01/23 I went back to book the cruise. I've been waiting for an hour to be served. Then the other lady served me. She couldn't even find the cruise I wanted to go. So, I physically had to find it for her! She doesn't have any idea how to book too. She said she will ask her senior staff and was told to come back 30mins later. I waited for half an hour and went back. She still doesn't know how to do it and said she needs to call somewhere on Mon morning and promised that she will get back to me by Monday. I could book from the cruise company's official website but the price shown on the Flight centre was better 09/01/23 Monday She didn't get back to me. I emailed her but she still didn't get back to me. 10/01/23 Tuesday I physically went there again on Tue afternoon. Shop was very quiet! The same lady said, "sorry, we were fully booked so couldn't get back to you". So, if you are busy, you just ignore your other customers. What a great service! Then she said, the cruise you were looking at is unavailable now. It was still available. I had to find and showed it to her. I thought she's the one who's working at the travel agency! Can't believe she can't even find it. Why does she work there? Then, she spent so long to search something. I asked her, did you call them and ask? She said yes, they said I have to book it from the official website! ??? I don't think she called them and she's lying! Why couldn't she tell me at the beginning then? I can book it from the official website too! I visited there 3 times and wasted my time but no one could book the cruise and they never get back to you! I went to another travel agency after that and they booked it for me easily! They said, there's cruise wholesalers and all the travel agencies get the prices from there, not from the official website! So, that lady was lying! Don't go to the Flight centre Chadstone! They know nothing and they are very irresponsible!
After being on the phone half a dozen times and not getting anywhere with my booked flights , I decide to go into store to rectify my issues. I can’t tell you enough how a very bad experience flipped into me making this review. I can’t thank Niki Leonardos enough for turning a very bad experience into a good one . Thank you for cleaning up someone else’s mess . Will definitely be going back to see her with any future travel plans
Some of the staff are incompetent - so it is luck of the draw! We arrived at our prepaid destination and flight centre confirmed booking ? only to find that 3 quarters of the rooms had not been booked. And we were a party of 20. Thank you Mantra staff for sorting out some basic accommodation Then it was battle to get any recognition, refund, let alone compensation. Flight centre brand destroyed for me.
3 out of 4 staff on today are not interested in helping clients. Even though none of them were with any client or on calls, I was told that appointment is essential. Excuse me! Appointment essential in a shopping centre??? Even Cartier does do so!
***Never Again*** My family recently booked a 5 day tour trip to Perth with Flight Centre here branched in Chadstone. Our corresponding agent was Ziggy Lewis who was our primary and first point of contact responsible for organising this tour for us. What should have been a beautiful holiday and adventure with family and friends, ends up resulting to be a huge nightmare of dreadful confusion and major disappointment in having missed 3 tours in our holiday package. The first major red flag which should have not happened in the first place with such a renowned and reputable company such as Flight Centre is the that the tour package and itinerary never came detailed with any business contact information, dates, times and location of meeting and appointments scheduled for our trip to run smoothly and organised professionally for a well and good time for our first time here in Perth. When we landed and arrived in Perth there was no initial contact to welcome us and prepare for our journey ahead. We waited for confirmation and planners to have scheduled this ahead but there was just lots of angst in waiting until the next morning. To add to this dilemma, Ziggy had booked a small taxi to transfer all 6 of us family and friends to ensure a health and safety journey to our hotel. To our surprise, we could not all fit in. We the four had to pay for our own transfer there. Second day of Perth, still no contact or any information regarding our tours, until we headed down to our hotel lobby for breakfast and at that point, the tour representatives gave us a quick call to inform us sporadically of our meeting point and time of departure. At this point, we had to cut our breakfast and made a rush to the location. This seemed far from paradise as when we finally made our arrival, the tour guides has informed us that only 2 people out of 6 were only listed to be in attendance. We had previously informed Ziggy that 6 people were to travel together and that was made very clear before our holiday was booked and our tour to go ahead. When the tour guide made a call to enquire about this on the day, his company had informed that several people had been booked for different dates. Several months in planning a trip together with Ziggy prior to our trip, only to have us there separated to different dates of our tour. The second disappointing factor and most regrettable event regarding our holiday tour was our most anticipated Rottnest Island adventure. We ended up missing the bus with the tour guide and eventually had to pay for our own entry out of pocket there which anyone with a conscientious mind would have thought that this was to be already included in our holiday package. This whole holiday ordeal booked with Ziggy became a total disaster of what should have been a nice and relaxing time in Perth, now holds a much dear resentment and unforgettable time unwell spent. I hope our bitter and disheartening experience with Flight Centre can shed some light on how unprofessional and unorganised some of the agents working with this company can be. This has now made us all turn our backs against Flight Centre. We will never recommend this company to any of our family and friends ever again.
If I could these guys a solid 0 it wouldn’t be enough! Booked my flights with a Chloe lang! Flight got cancelled November 2021! We are at October 2022 and they won’t refund me the money I paid! They keep telling me to call the call center! And they keep referring me to the store! If you want to feel like a soccer ball in preparation for the World Cup, book with these mobs!
I needed to book a flight due to a jetstar voucher reaching it's expiry date.Looked flight centre opening hours and 2 of the stores that were "open " were in fact closed for business for good.Waited on call for 10 mins to find out stores that were in fact open and was cut off at the end
Molly Hickman, the senior flight consultant based at Chadstone has been absolutely amazing! The assistance and guidance she provided me for the best possible result, has been outstanding throughout. Couldn't have gotten better! Thanks heaps Molly! You're a GEM !!!
Friendly but mostly Incompetent staff. Incorrect information, lost bookings only to to be discovered on arrival…..And had to fight for a refund. No follow up on promises incl. flight credits. Extremely stressful experience.
