Very authentic Indian food is served here. The goat biryani and the onion bhaji is my favourite. Tne Dosas too are good. The food is pricey here. It has specials for students. The staff could be more friendly and carry that nice Asian smile. Its a licenced restaurant and has the favourite beers and spirits. Its a clean restaurant.

A place to eat or a shrine? Strong pungent smell of incense as I entered this small establishment. Quite nicely set up, lots of Hindu goddess reference on the wall. Poorly presented of this pretty ordinary serving of Lamb Curry and fragrant Basmati rice for $10.50 - lunch special, although their house Jacob's Creek Chardonnay was their saving grace - matched nicely with the strong curry sauce.

They deliver all the way out to Preston and their food is the most authentic Indian cuisine I've come across in Melbourne. Highly recommend the Gongura chicken for spice lovers, the sheik kebab (barbecued mince skewers in sauce) for a creamier tomato based lamb, the paneer mattar (cottage cheese with pease in a smoky fenugreek sauce) and the butter chicken which is barbecued prior to being curries. Their garlic naan is the best in Melbourne and the roti (whole wheat flat bread) is pretty good too. My partner and I try to get up here at least once a week *from South Melbourne* because it's really worth it. The family running the place are really friendly too which is a bonus.
