Staffs are very helpful and welcoming with big smiles.nnYou should be asked to present a vaccination certificate or a NSW contraindication form to enter the shop, which is normal as of now.nnThere are plenty of toys, books, and stationeries that kids will like.nnThe shop is a bit crowded during the weekend afternoon, but weekdays and weekend morning should be a good time to stay longer in reviewing necessary books and materials.nnRecommended!
Update: Thanks for the prompt response to my review and the follow up call. I have always enjoyed good service so was disappointed with the lack of communication.nI ordered three books on Wednesday 24 January and was told the books would take 7 days to arrive. I was happy to pay the extra $5/book as I’d forgotten to order these through the school system and getting them in time for the start of school was important. I went into the store a week later to be told the books were still on order, and then I called each week and got differing stories on their way, at the Seven Hills store etc and eventually got a call yesterday that the books were ready for collection 19 Feb. I was clearly disappointed with the lack of communication and thought when I collected the books today I’d have at least got an apology.
Wonderful specialty bookshop with very knowledgeable staff - when you phone they pick up the call !!!, know their stuff/ stock and are very helpful. They also stock a lovely selection of toys and gifts. I love supporting local business, and Five Senses makes it a pleasure to do just that.
Super impressed with the customer service of staff. I had missed the opportunity of ordering my daughter's books through her school, however it was no problem for Five Senses to order the books in for me. The kind staff member easily gathered the books that she had in stock, and ordered those that they didn't have on the shelf. My order arrived quickly. Love this shop for all the extras that I need.
Remember Meg Ryan’s bookstore in ‘You’ve Got Mail’?nnThis is that kind of store. Super helpful staff. Very selective merchandise to really help in educating your kids and speaking of merchandise: they’ve got everything from books and toys, to puzzles and experimental kits. I love this store and so do my kids. Totally deserve 5 rating.nnOh, and they have also got group and individual classes for kids on reading, writing, maths etc. Don’t have first hand account to share, but we do see a lot of parents and kids on Saturdays.
