Little did I know how fun and exhausting boxing would be. I was bored of running and cycling, and contacted the guys at Fitness Ring to get fit. They are so welcoming and I spring out of bed to get to class at 6am. Honestly, you could not meet a bunch of nicer people, both the trainers and the participants. Do yourself a favour and come join them, it really helps your fitness and self confidence. I am hooked!

Growing up I was always fit, active and had a healthy build, but recovering from a netball injury at the same time starting a new corporate job and relationship, I stopped exercising and was eating out all the time. Before I knew it I went from a size 10 to a 16 (ok, it wasn’t before I knew it, it crept up slowly over 6 years). The moment I knew I needed and wanted the change for myself was when I was looking for a dress for my best friend’s wedding, I remember crying in the change rooms, looking in the mirror disappointed with myself, that afternoon I signed up for a gym membership. The gym really wasn’t for me, I love team sports and struggled to motivate myself, I didn’t know how to use the equipment properly and felt embarrassed asking for help. My best friend knew I was struggling and suggested her and I start boxing together, so we booked ourselves in for a free trial at the Fitness Ring in April and I haven’t looked back (or returned to the gym). My first class, I was a red faced mess but I loved it, I loved the challenge, the supporting environment and we were quick to sign up for the introductory 1st month offer. The team at Fitness Ring, Luke, Nick and Tonia work so well, they make exercising enjoyable, you are always learning new things and in the past 5 months I have felt myself go from strength to strength and I actually look forward to going to class. Tonia is always keeping things interesting adding in new classes, challenges and sessions to support your fitness journey and awareness. I think it is these little touches that really demonstrate how much they care about their clients and want to see the best success from us all. Whatever your personal fitness/weight loss goals are, I can’t recommend Fitness Ring highly enough. I still have a long way to go but I look forward to smashing my own goals and for the day I don’t cry on the inside when Luke makes us run/squat/star jump with a smash ball.

I came along to the free intro class without any expectations and absolutely loved it. From the onset, Nick, Tonia and Luke were extremely welcoming and pushed me beyond my comfort zone. The sessions are designed to ensure that people of all fitness levels are challenged and gain some benefit. I haven't felt this good/strong in a very long time nor have I had this much fun getting fit before. After a tough day at work it's extremely cathartic to punch a few bags and the team at Fitness Ring create a fun environment to do that in 💪🏾 I highly recommend Fitness Ring if you want to get fit and have fun doing so 🥊

Tonia and Nick have made what's usually a task for me, something I look forward to in my week. As a busy mum who juggles too many life & business commitments, it's not always easy for me to make exercising and "me" time a priority, but the guys have been so welcoming, supportive, encouraging and constantly inspire me to achieve greater than what I would expect of myself! Every session with Nick has me dancing, laughing, feeling accomplished and kicking goals. I feel like any fitness goal is possible with Fitness Ring because of how committed Tonia & Nick are to helping you achieve them and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks guys for the results so far and I know the best is yet to come!
