A piece of history situated in a busy business environment, We offer chilled tap beer to an Angus Eye Fillet or delicious Duck fat wedges.

Story

Fisher House Formally known as Ra Ora stud was 177 acres founded in the 1960's by Sir Woolf Fisher where he lived for many years with his wife Lady Joyce Fisher. Now its a piece of history turned into a wonderful bistro located in a growing business environment. We have a wide range of chilled beverages with a menu full of flavour. From a glass of wine with a friend to celebrating a special occasion with many friends and family or a morning latte with your boss to discussing important ideas with work colleagues, we do all sorts of functions to the best of our ability. We would like to welcome all walks of life into our proud bistro for a well deserved drink or just a bite to eat.

Nice atmosphere. The High Tea food was decidedly average. A reasonable range of teas though. Building has been well maintained, and restaurant kept clean and tidy.

We arrived at 12.05 sat for 45 minutes waiting for our high tea. Very disappointed with this. To many sweet things and only 1.5 sandwiches each. A very small meat mince pie. A scone with cream and jam. No butter for people who did not eat cream. Paid $29.00 for this no wonder every one was feeling let down. It was to be a highlight but turned out to be a low light? ? ?

Good portioned size food for your money. All of our drinks came out warm though which was fixed and replaced quickly but initiative would have been appreciated. However, beautiful setting, and good food.

Beautiful venue but the food was well below average. We had the high tea, great selection of teas but they took 45mins to serve us tea. The food was rubbish, stale cheap bread and poorly made desserts. The food also took way to long to arrive. The cost for the quality was way too high.

Nice place... Sorry but Food was yuk..did not enjoy any of it... fish cake yuk... venison yuk took first bite... was bout to spew...cudnt b bothered with dessert...even chip was normal... if u want the best tasting chips... Lil Abner...
