My favorite fish and chips in Wellington. The fish was fresh and chips was crisp. Why is 4 stars is some peoplenot sure they are the staffs or the customers in there are not wearing a mask and nobody say anything.
07/09/22 $ Fillet of the Day Dinner $13.90 with a Mussel fritter $4.90/$6.90 Fresh Fish Fillet was battered and cooked just right on the spot, with crispy chips, with Tartare sauce & wedge of lemon. The meal was excellent, I usually buy from Polynesian Seafoods in Cannons Creek but they are closed cause their renewal lease didn't get approved and this is my substitute their fish is prepped like Polynesian "bon appetit". One of the cooks did not have a hair net on behind the counter, and sounded like they were having a disagreement, but I didn't pay attention, but food safety should be NO#1 priority.. put your hair net on! You can eat-in as they provide tables & chairs. They have a great selection of fresh/frozen kaimoana.
I usually love your food but ordered a corn fritter, they are already in batter, just deep fry as is, why do you need to desecrate it with more batter, was doughy inside, not impressed

I am a seafood lover and this place is my top choice if I am craving for some fresh fish. I have not yet tried their fried fish and chips but given the high-quality food there I believe that would be great too. Come there by weekly and find it really nice to shop fresh ingredients.

Im satisfy with there fresh fish and crispy chips but when someone places an order it needs to be exact, by mean i didnt receive my correct order...i paid for 9 fish and only received 7 so hope next time i visit yous that i will receive correct order and i wont need to make a complaint...it helps if you check it before wrapping it up
