Never deal with this company, we recently applied to build with them. Sadly i lost my job during application, thus causing the finance fell through. We had already payed our land deposit ($2000 through stockland) which were amazing to deal with and gave us a full refund We had also payed our builders deposit ($2000) which we were told was a fully refundable deposit by the salesman we were dealing with (Max), well how untruthful that was, they have taken the full deposit and actually given us a bill over over $1000 payable within 10 days or a debt collector will be contacted, even though the finance was never approved and the build was never even started. Since the first email, they have contacted us again, saying that "it became apparent that I calculated the figures incorrectly." and gave us another invoice with a $651.87 with a note saying "As discussed previously, ​we are willing to offer a payment plan in order to assist you with finalising your account. Please contact me should you wish to utilise this offer, alternatively please forward payment to the bank account noted on the invoice." After taking some time to get some legal advice, we sent an email back stating that our lawyer will be in contact within the next week or two. We then got an email back 11 days later saying "I apologize for the delay in responding to your previous emails. My delay was due to discussing your case with upper Management. I have been advised that due to an internal error, I should not have charged you for the additional charges beyond the deposit fee. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience I may have caused you and advise that I have closed your job in our system." Such an unprofessional and poorly managed company. They have lost a future customer, and we will be warning everyone we know about this builder. All in all i recommend never dealing with company or any company operating under "Simsai construction group"

After a battle and loss of our deposit with another so called premium builder 101.We found first home buyers direct. We signed with Max at first home back in June 2016.Our construction process has went so quick. In three short months we are at lock up stage and feeling extremely happy with the process. Our house is high spec and has turned out fabulous. James our manager is extremely understanding and friendly. Alana is our liason coordinator and has been extremely patient and upbeat throughout our whole process. The estimating team are fair and gave prices on anything we requested. Management have been fair and upfront on any hurdles along the way. Our budget was on the higher end for a first home builder but I kid you not the spec to which it is being done is five star.

They gave us initial costing within our budget so paid deposit then two weeks later they come back and prices is almost $20k over. Very similar story to others. Stupid me. My broker, the land agent, a friend already gave me warning but I ignored them so I take full responsibility for my action. For the sake of your sanity and savings by all means avoid. Learn from the mistakes of others.

Built with them on 2014-2015. Moved in early 2015. They didn't install our solar hot water system properly, it's included in the contract. They only installed one GPO and left the other cable dangling for a year since we moved in. So we've been paying full amount of our gas bill instead of using the solar panel. Contacted them after we realised it a year later when we started having a problem with our hot water and they installed 2 GPO, promised us on the email that they would reimburse our gas bill, but they were asking our winter gas bill which wouldn't help at all with less sun. So I was waiting until a year to ask for reimbursement, in a hope they can compare our gas bill yearly. But now they're saying that it's our fault not to inform them as soon as possible and why we wouldn't just use adopter to connect the other cable that been left dangling outdoor, which is not make sense because it's not safe for us to do it. Other than that, we had other problems building with them that I wouldn't write all in here.
