Have been going to this store for years the current staff are very friendly they couldn't be more helpful . Their pies and pasties and sausage rolls are really tasty and I have been buying the custard tarts for years which in my opinion are the best you will find .

*** FOOD CRITIC, SMASHING ANOTHER REVIEW *** I am giving them 3 stars based on the level of customer service and the presenation of the store it was clean and well maintained for just after the lunch rush on a weekend. Steak and Onion Pie $5.50? SERIOUSLY!! Man, Beechworth Bakery is only $4.80, never have I paid so much for a terrible PIE! tons of onion but they use onions cut in to rings, the better way would be to the dice the onion but that would possibly take to much time and therefore they are cutting the corners there which bakers are sometimes known for.,The crust and the base of the pie was dry and hardened it had definitely been in the pie warmer way too long given the fact it was rock hard, the flavor of the pie is lacking I don't recommend the food from here to be honest, but as always we'll revisit this store in a few weeks.
