The perfect place to stop for a break when travelling to and from Christchurch, Queenstown and Mt Cook. Delicious homemade food & Gift Shop. FREE WIFI.

Story

In summer take in the beautiful surroundings from our outdoor garden and in winter enjoy your coffee next to the cozy fire.

We offer a variety of homemade baking, salads and sandwiches from our cabinet as well as the famous Denheath Custard Squares and Fairlie Bakehouse pies. Also available is a selection from our simple but delicious cafe style menu.

Group bookings are always welcome and with plenty of off-street parking available, why not take the time out and enjoy the country atmosphere.

The cafe is decorated with dozens of deer antlers on the roof. Very unique and unforgettable. Coffee is good. Couch seats are soft and comfortable. My kid loves the kids playground in the back yard. A very nice place to take a brief break after a long drive.

The food was just so yummy!! The outdoor area was nice on a hot day, the furniture needs a bit of tlc. Staff were cheerful,happy. Coffee came with the meal and was cold when we drank it with our cake, our fault for not asking for a delay. Found cold water to drink on way out, but would've been nice to have with our meal. All in all, we will definitely be back!!! The salad was worth the trip!! 😁

Nice cafe on the way from Tekapo to Geraldine. Very friendly staff and good coffee. Good choice is quite limited but was good quality. Big outside area and cute little animals for the kids to feed.

Had a venison & cranberry pie, and a cup of long black. Amazed by the pie as it was well seasoned, tender meat and a bit of sweetness from the berry. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Could miss easily along the highway but it is a must visit to rest & enjoy.

Good food and good coffee. Stopped here 8 years ago, and it was good. Stopped here today, and still good... Friendly service, and the salads were proper tasty. Next time I'm passing through, I'll be stopping in.
