Good range and friendly staff! Love going to say hello to Crackers out the back and seeing the hand reared birds they have! Love that I can take my bird in with me to pick his toys!!
Highly recommend and I had an amazing experience! Their knowledge on all pets was phenomenal, with fantastic customer service. Very friendly and welcoming staff I bought a turtle elsewhere of which I was given the wrong and little advice from another store and am very grateful that I came here to get help. I was blown away by how much the staff knew, and helped me with my new pet turtle. The staff here saved my pet turtles life. Will definitely be back here for all things pets.
This is an excellent pet shop. They stock a wide variety of pets, food, toys, etc... and its very difficult to find bales of straw or hay in pet shops in Melbourne and you will have no trouble finding them here. Nice, helpful staff. Members receive 5% off.
For a place that has been in business as long as this, I would like to assume they have reasonable product knowledge and customer service. But please, if you're going to get live mice supplied to sell, look after them until they are bought. It was unfortunate to see the condition of the water and food. I understand mice are messy, but that water had not been changed in a while. The wheel is broken also. Cat supplies were also limited. Hopefully change is made to the condition of the mice's temporary space, as the other animals do seem well looked after.
*** Update 2020 - Still the best. Excellent service the staff here are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. In this area there are at least 4 places I could go for my pet supplies, i choose this one every time. ***Update 2022 Also the groomer is awesome
We get our pet groomed their and the staff are friendly and helpful. We have been going there for years, always well stocked and reasonable prices. They are good for first time owners in explaining what you may need.
One of my favourite places to shop! Staff are passionate and will do everything possible to accommodate... best part of the shop though is the selection of birds!!!
Went first time to this store. Bought dog food a bag of Digestive formula. Wanted to return it so went next day with tax invoice and most importantly bag not opened. Store refused to reimburse and said, It is our company policy. We do not reimburse but we offer a credit note" Respect company policy but will advise to future customers please think twice before buying anything as I never came across a pet store who do not reimburse. Other pet stores are so good that even if you have opened a bag they will reimburse you when dog does not eat it. Be careful with this store.
I purchase all my food & supplies for my chickens and rabbits here, and have my dogs groomed. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, always happy to lift heavy bales of hay in the car, or bags of feed. Sam the dog groomer loves dogs and is so fantastic & patient with one of my neurodiverse dogs.
I've known the owners for over 20 years. This is my only go-to pet store. I won't go anywhere else. The dog food in particular is A1, highly superior to supermarket. Highly recommended.
