This has become a regular breakfast spot and so enjoying having my porridge and tea. First came her in late March and have come back a few times since. Staff are always so nice. Got myself a rewards card and slowly using it as I’m not in Melbourne every day. Famish’d seems to do a good trade with regular customers. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Dietaries catered for. Takeaway available as well as dining in.
Small and sweet place to have some healthy salad mixes to dine in or takeaway. The simple yet creative ambience only adds to the experience.
From the looks of it, Famish'd seems to be a famous cafe. Often places that become famous start losing quality. My few visits to Famish'd have been of 'okay' category. Few things that they may consider improving on before I and for those reasons other reviewers too start taking a critical view. 1. Pay attention to orders. I understand that you miss one or two orders when you are busy. But you weren't! 2. The upper floor has a distinct smell, which is not a nice one. Hygiene matters! 3. Placing of tables should be considered as some of them are way too close to the slabs and may hit someone in head. 4. Coffee: Well, ummm, ahem!
They have the most fantastic, brilliant and friendly staff who always welcome you with a great smile and good energy. It gets quite busy during lunch hours but it’s worth waiting for if you are looking for healthy options.
Stunningly good salads especially the olive grove really big portions lovely
Awesome salads, potatoes, soups. Quick, good value & delicious.
One of the few places in town where you can get food that is healthy and fresh. Lots of salad options, good bread, toppings, drinks, coffee. The staff are fast and friendly. The place gets busy with more people these days looking for a meal that doesn't come with heart disease on the side. At lunchtimes the queue for salads can be long and it's a bit of a circus busy, loud to get into the little corner where you start choosing your salad options. But it's worth after you sit down and tuck in.
I came at the peak lunch hour, it was pretty packed but the staff know how to handle chaos. The salads were actually incredible, easily the best salads I've had in Melbourne so far. Definitely coming back here! I liked that I could do things like "I'll have a quarter of each of those four salads"
Nice vegan spud option and you can design your own with vegan butter. Also have a vegan salad option but I always get the spud. They usually have a vegan brownie in stock which is so delicious a lot of non-coffee items too for those who require something non-caffinated at lunch time. Staff a quite friendly but efficient. A regular visitor!
Came here during lunch time peak hour so it was understandably busy, however, the sweet potato dish I ordered didn't taste quite right, as if they had used a potato that had gone bad. The person I was with also tried it and said that the last time they had the dish it didn't taste like that either. Didn't have a good experience here unfortunately. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the dish the person I was with had ordered, tasted much better.
