Pretty good club. Small but ok as crowd not large. Small differences in floor levels all over the place which can make it a bit crazy to navigate in high heels. Lots of staff.
Amazing place with great vibe! In Silk Saturday’s The bouncer named Abbas was awesome. He was a very nice guy unlike the other bouncers portrayed in some reviews... somebody give him a bonus!. He even shook my hand and did a great job at keeping the venue safe when trouble arose. All you got to do to have fun at any high end nightclub is to meet the promoters. Free entry + free shots. Party starts at 10:30 pm. Met a cool guy and the ladies were beautiful and one was specially open minded ; 5/5 experience on Saturday! Will never forget.
Extraordinary place with a smoke machine that absolutely blinds you. The music is fun to dance too and there is an incredible lighting display. The drinks are typically overpriced and there is a cover charge of $10.00. Plus a charge for them to store your bag. However if being wiped out by a smoke machine to the funky sounds of the lastest dance music is your thing, then its all worth it.
-Extremely crowded, no real place to dance as the room is placed such that most of the dance floor area has constant moving lines of people going to the bathroom or the back. -I can believe it would be a great place with a group of friends - can basically force an area to dance in but would need a booth to guarantee an areadancing in your booth desperately. -Vibe is unfriendly, perhaps due exactly to the fact that there are many insular friendship groups. Basically, MAYBE a place for booth lovers - not a mainstream nightclub and thus not suitable for most club goers; in this reviewers opinion.
Hi there, I’d like to make a complaint about Silk Saturdays at Fabrique. Earlier today 4 Feb 2018 around 2.15am, my fiancé’s bucks group got kicked out one by one for being non-Asians which apparently upset the “ratio”. The said bucks group had paid $750 for the booth and entry, and extra $560 for 2 bottles of Greygoose. They are all uni friends and are the tamest group you’ll find. If not for the bucks, they wouldn’t even think of going night clubbing. Just when they got kicked out, a few of us girls fiancée and partners joined them outside Silk Saturdays and were verbally abused by the bouncers who made very inappropriate comments about our Asian mothers. We are deeply insulted and appalled by this kind of rude and racist behaviour. To make it worse, when we complained on Silk Saturdays’s Facebook reviews, their staff started fabricating stories where one of the boys was involved in sexual harassment. This is a serious defamatory allegation and Silk Saturdays failed to provide any evidence. Their staff left two comments, they were petty, false, defamatory, and rude. Very soon they realised their mistakes and they deleted them. Please advise if you could help us with this, and we are prepared to take this to ACCC and Human Rights Commission. Thank you for your time.
We’ve planned everything with friends and we had guest list with us as well but they didn’t let us, they had some stupid reason not to let us in, everyone in front was ignoring and did not help out, they have ruined our day and I don’t recommend anyone going there!!!!! Definitely do not go there!!
Everything there is overpriced , staff are horrible , I just went out of the club for a second and tried to get in to get my jacket from inside and they literally tortured me to do that , the attitude of the staff was horrible specially the guards and police came into the club because they suspected stuff happening which was a bit of a scene. Dont reccomend it at ALL
Even with Guest list they didn't let us in. The security, stuff and the manger was also really mean. Find somewhere else to go and don't waste your time
The music is okay but the drinks are overpriced. Relax, you aren’t a 5-Star restaurant.
I live nearby, and the bass noise from the nightclub keeps me awake. They need better soundproofing!
